Come experience the boundless creativity of the next generation of South Carolina artists at the ArtFields Jr. Traveling Exhibition July 15-August 30 at Murchison School in Bennettsville. The Marlboro County Museum is proud host the Pee Dee leg of a statewide tour that features winning artworks from the 2025 ArtFields Jr. Art Competition in additional to area participants. The ArtFields Jr. Art Competition is free to enter and open to South Carolina students in grades 1-12. All student artwork submitted to the competition is reviewed by an independent selection panel and the accepted artwork is displayed during the ArtFields Competition & Festival. ArtFields Jr. Art Competition winners are announced on the final day of the annual competition and festival.
The exhibition will be open on Tuesdays from 3 to 6 p.m., Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 15-August 30. Other times may be arranged by calling 843-479-5624. Murchison School is located at 203 Fayetteville Avenue, Bennettsville, SC, 29512, next to the Marian Wright Edelman Public Library. Parking is available in front of 131 South Marlboro Street, Bennettsville, SC, 29512. Handicap access is available at the rear entrance.
